During the manufacturing process, ceramics are individually shaped, glazed, fired, polished, painted, or finished by skilled artisans.
As a result, slight variations may naturally occur in: Color,Texture,Glaze finish,Shape,Weight,Dimensions,Pattern placement,Brush strokes,Kiln marks,Pinholes,Speckles,Surface irregularities,Hand-painted artwork,Rustic finishes.
These characteristics are not defects but rather a reflection of the handcrafted nature of our products and contribute to the individuality of each piece.
Every item is unique, and no two handcrafted products will be exactly alike.
PRODUCT DIMENSIONS
All measurements displayed on our website are approximate.
Minor variations in size or weight may occur due to: Manual finishing, Ceramic shrinkage during firing, Artisan craftsmanship, Manufacturing tolerances.
Customers are advised to review all product dimensions carefully before placing an order to ensure suitability for their intended use.
Such minor dimensional variations shall not be treated as manufacturing defects.
FOOD SAFETY & PRODUCT USAGE
Unless expressly stated otherwise on the product page, products should be used only for their intended purpose.

PRODUCT CARE
To extend the life of our products, customers are encouraged to follow all care instructions provided with the product or on our website.
Unless specifically mentioned otherwise: Handle ceramic products with care, Avoid dropping or striking products against hard surfaces, Avoid sudden temperature changes that may cause cracking, Use non-abrasive cleaning materials, Avoid harsh chemicals or metal scrubbers, Decorative products should be cleaned using a soft cloth.
Damage resulting from improper use, accidental breakage, mishandling, or failure to follow care instructions is not covered under our return or replacement policy.
ORDERS
Once an order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation via email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
Receipt of an order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order.
Acceptance of an order is subject to : Successful payment authorization, Product availability, Verification of customer details, Compliance with these Terms, Successful fraud prevention checks where applicable.

Where payment has already been received for a cancelled order, the amount shall be refunded to the original payment method in accordance with our refund policy.
ORDER MODIFICATIONS & CANCELLATIONS

All prices displayed on the House of Velumi website are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.
Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue product pricing, offers, discounts, or promotions at any time without prior notice. Such changes shall not affect orders that have already been confirmed and paid for.
We currently accept payments through secure third-party payment gateways using methods including, but not limited to: UPI, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Net Banking, Digital Wallets, International payment methods supported on our website.
Orders are processed only after successful payment confirmation.
CASH ON DELIVERY (COD)
Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available for any products, locations, or order values on the House of Velumi website.
All orders must be prepaid at the time of purchase using the available online payment methods.

While we strive to dispatch orders promptly, occasional delays may occur due to unforeseen operational circumstances. Such delays shall not automatically entitle customers to compensation, cancellation, or damages.
All orders will be shipped within a maximum of 30 days from the date of order placement, unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase or in exceptional circumstances beyond our control. Delivery timelines may vary depending on the shipping destination and logistics conditions.

Delivery timelines are estimates only and may vary depending on: Delivery location, Courier service availability, Weather conditions, Government restrictions, Public holidays, Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Shipping charges, if applicable, will be displayed during checkout before payment.
International Shipping
House of Velumi does not currently offer international shipping.
All orders placed through our website are delivered only within India. Any mention of international payment methods does not imply international delivery availability.
We reserve the right to introduce or discontinue international shipping in the future without prior notice.
DELIVERY & RISK TRANSFER
Ownership and responsibility for the products pass to the customer once the shipment has been handed over to the courier or logistics partner.
While we take great care in securely packaging fragile items, House of Velumi shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party shipping providers, natural disasters, strikes, transportation disruptions, customs clearance (where applicable in future), or other events beyond our control.

UNDELIVERED OR RETURNED SHIPMENTS
If an order is returned to us because of: Incorrect or incomplete delivery address, Customer unavailable at the time of delivery, Refusal to accept delivery, Failure to respond to courier communication, Any other delivery failure attributable to the customer.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
We take extensive care while packaging every order. However, due to the fragile nature of ceramic and home décor products, damage during transit may occasionally occur.
If your package appears visibly damaged, crushed, opened, or tampered with upon delivery, we strongly recommend recording a video before opening the parcel.
Please retain: Original packaging, Bubble wrap, Protective materials, Shipping labels, Damaged product.
until your claim has been reviewed.
Failure to retain the original packaging may affect the verification process.
PRODUCT INSPECTION & UNBOXING VIDEO
Customers must inspect their order immediately after delivery.
For any claim relating to: Broken products, Chipped ceramics, Cracked items, Missing products, Incorrect products, Manufacturing defects.
the following must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery: A continuous, unedited unboxing video starting before the parcel is opened, Clear photographs of the outer package, Images of the shipping label, Photographs of the damaged or incorrect product, Your order number.
claims submitted without an unboxing video may not be eligible for replacement or refund, except where required under applicable law.
RETURNS, REPLACEMENTS & REFUNDS
Due to the fragile, hygienic, and carefully packaged nature of our crockery and home décor products, House of Velumi accepts returns only under limited circumstances.
A return or replacement request may be considered if: The product was received in a damaged condition, An incorrect product was delivered, The product has a verified manufacturing defect, An item is missing from the shipment.
To qualify for review:
The issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, The product must remain unused, The original packaging should be retained, All accessories, tags, and included materials must be returned wherever applicable, * The customer must provide the required photographs and unboxing video.
After reviewing the submitted evidence, House of Velumi may, at its sole discretion, offer one of the following remedies: Replacement of the damaged product, Dispatch of the missing item, Repair (where feasible), Store credit, Refund to the original payment method.
Refunds, if approved, will be processed after verification and, where applicable, after the returned product has been received and inspected.
Shipping charges, taxes, gift packaging fees, or other third-party charges may not be refundable unless required by applicable law.
EXCHANGE POLICY
To maintain the highest standards of hygiene and quality, House of Velumi does not offer exchanges for products based on personal preference, change of mind, colour variation, or incorrect selection made by the customer.
An exchange may only be considered where: An incorrect product has been delivered, The product has a verified manufacturing defect, The product was damaged during transit and the claim has been approved in accordance with our Returns Policy.
Approved exchanges are subject to product availability. If the same product is unavailable, House of Velumi may offer a replacement of similar value, store credit, or a refund at its sole discretion.
SALE, DISCOUNTED & PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS
Products purchased during: Sale events, Clearance sales, Seasonal promotions, Limited-time offers, Special discounts, Bundle offers are considered final sale unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
